Job Description

Startup Institute is an immersive 8-week project-based curriculum equipping students with startup mindset, skills and networks. I was the project manager for the team that won the 24-hour Idea Hack for Klooff, a TechStars startup. Our winning idea was a bootstrapped marketing and UX strategy. I was also project Manager for our team project with Reelio, a funded early stage startup. Project focus - QA, usability and user testing.

Job Description

I led Princeton University facilities, housing and operations senior management through pre-development for the University’s first third-party developed and managed real estate projects. The three residential projects, part of a $200+mm portfolio included Lakeside Graduate Apartments - 325 units, Stanworth Commons - 300 faculty and staff units and Olden House - 20 furnished extended stay units. Pre-development for Lakeside and Stanworth was fast-tracked and completed faster than any projects in the University’s history.

Job Description

I conducted in-depth market and economic analyses to test the feasibility of proposed urban and/or waterfront mixed-use development projects for private developers and government entities. Projects included Maxwell Place, Harrison Waterfront Redevelopment, New Amsterdam Theater, World Trade Center, Port Authority and Harlem Piers. I also managed diverse project teams for public-private engagements including Park Avenue Armory and the Apollo Theater. For my biggest project, I led senior EY project team advising the US General Services Administration (GSA) through pre-development for $1.5B Southeast Federal Center project (now The Yards), a large mixed-use development along the Anacostia River in DC. Over the years - I also led large business development efforts. Big wins include $2M engagement for Goldman Sachs tower in Jersey City. Lastly, I developed Real Estate investment initiative (2004-2007) between EY US and India (including nine-months in India) resulting in establishment of EY India real estate practice.

I majored in real estate development and minored in Urban Policy at The George Washington University. During school, I was a TA and also had an internship with EY from June 1997 to December 1998.
